About

Modus Operandi

If you described music to someone who didn’t know what it was, it would sound insane. It would go something like this:

A group of people take objects, and touch, tweak, pluck, hammer, beat, trounce, caress, lick, set them on fire, and hump them. Some of them use these objects to send signals to another object - through electronic formulas - that affect the signal and then project those sounds through wires and amps. While they’re doing it, they sweat and/or dress nice. Many of them gyrate around or try to look cool. One or all of the group also shouts and whines. As a result, the people hearing this cry, dance, laugh, cheer, revolt, swoon, have sex, fight, and sometimes their hearts fill with joy and they remember something that makes them feel elated. The gyrating people hitting and touching stuff then record this. And people buy it.

Sounds crazy. But music is a constant. It will always be here. And it will always move people. To many, it’s the most important thing in the world. And we’re some of those people. If there were more of us, the world would be a better place. So we want to be a part of it. And our part is making records and supporting people who touch things real good.
